5 minute warm-up walk, 25 minutes of the usual jog/walk.  … I need running shoes.

 

I’m writing this up before I head out for my workout.  I’m still sore from Monday’s excursion, which is a bad sign for me.  Mostly it means that I needed to do this a lot sooner. :p

My legs are a bit stiff, which I can work around.  I don’t think I’ll do any pushups this time around though, because my lateral muscles took a pretty bad hit, when I did.  I think I’ll find some sort of weights to lift, rather than pushups..at least until I build up strength / slim down a bit.

I’m not really looking forward to the workout, but I know I’ve got to do it.. so I’m gonna go put on my big boy pants and get this over with.  VIVA LA WEIGHT LOSS!

Spoiler alert:  I worked out.  I also feel like today was a lot easier than Monday’s excursion.  I don’t know if it’s because I was jogging a wee bit slower, or if it’s because I was breathing better, or if I am simply getting more used to the course.   After one trip, it’s too early to tell, I think.  Let me say this:  I don’t feel completely dead, this time.  That’s a plus.  I’m actually looking forward to Saturday.

 

Today, I did my entire jogging exercise.  5 minute Warm-up walk, and 20 minutes: alternating 60 seconds of jogging with 90 seconds of walking.

Towards the end, it was all I could do to keep myself from calling it early..but the short spurts really helped me keep it going.   This first day kicked my ass, but it’ll only get better from here.  I followed up my workout with a sandwich (Ham, no cheese.  Wheat bread, with lettuce and green peppers..and a bit of mustard for taste.)

As of right now, I don’t really feel sore or anything, just tired.  A bit worn out, but we’ll see what tomorrow brings (Pain, I’m betting!)

A long long time ago.. I can still remember, when I used to run and play.  I could jump on a trampoline, or run out and climb a tree.. and maybe even fit between a fence. (Doo doo dooo do doo dooo)

But then I started eatin’ bad.  Staying inside and gettin’ fat!  Well maybe it wasn’t all so bad.  I played vidya games and accumulated mass.

But then one day, I started a blog. This fat-ass Jedi’s gone on too long.  I’ll see you on the other side of Tatooine.
